Cardio Vascular Associates PSC (CVA), has been committed to providing the highest level of cardiovascular care with personal, caring service for over 70 years. The beginning of CVA evolved from the solo practice of Dr. Woodford B. Troutman in the early 1930's. Dr.Troutman was one of only two cardiologist, in the state and has often been cited as a pioneer in the specialty of cardiology. In the early 1950's Dr. Ralph Denham joined the practice, followed by Dr. Henry Post in 1956. These three cardiologist formed the nucleus of what is now CardioVascular Associates.

CVA has grown into one of the largest and most respected cardiovascular practices in the region. Our cardiologists offer a wide variety of clinical expertise in all phases of cardiology at two full-time offices in Louisville and twelve part-time locations in the Louisville Metro area including Bullitt County and in Adair and Russell Counties. Our practice provides comprehensive diagnosis of heart disease with most every treatment option short of cardiovascular surgery.
