The Lipid Center is a cholesterol management program designed to co-ordinate the treatment and follow-up of patients. The purpose of the Lipid Center is to monitor patients who have abnormalities in blood lipids and assist them to goal range. In consu-ltation with CVA Cardiologist, a Nurse Practitioner and Lipid Clinician provide patient assessment, treatment, edu-cation, and follow-up according to National Cholesterol Education Program Guidelines.
